Positive Material Identification (PMI)

Olivier International performs positive material identification (PMI) to verify the elemental composition and alloy grade of piping, valves, welds, pressure equipment, and other metallic components. PMI may use X-ray fluorescence (XRF), optical emission spectroscopy (OES), or another approved method selected for the material and required elements, with results compared to the governing specification or material-verification program.
