Guided Wave Testing (GWT/LRUT)

Olivier International uses guided wave testing (GWT), also known as long-range ultrasonic testing (LRUT), to screen extended lengths of pipe from a limited number of access points for changes associated with corrosion, erosion, or other cross-sectional loss. GWT is a screening method used to identify areas for targeted follow-up examination; range and sensitivity vary with geometry, coatings, supports, contents, temperature, and pipe condition.
